The Ministry is concerned about reports received of messages circulating on social media. The message is a phishing scam recently created to harvest personal information. The public is advised to ignore all messages with Covid19.googIe.fund or googIe.fund, sample messages are below:
The public is reminded that official correspondences from government originate from official government domains/channels. These being domains with gov.bz, known social media accounts or the Government Press Office.
